Brief discussion on Statement-“ Keep your vision broad”.

Often Times we Come up with or heard of this  statement in our day to day life. But what on earth is broad vision??. If I ask you What is Broad Vision?? and How do I know my vision is broad?? and how it is going to shape my growth and fulfillment in life?? and even why do people need Broad vision ?? what is the point.??  What would be your answer. Well !! I have no idea what is your answer but I have answer for this. But offcourse I love to hear from So think about it and Storm your brain lil or much and try find the answer. And Yes read my answer too.

For this I would like to turn attention to the Susbstitution theory of Pshychology- its application on social psychology is the best fit I found for discussing this statement. Pay your humble attention to the following;

How many dates you Have been in this month ??

How happy Are you these days ??

 These are the Questions asked on a Survey of German students, The Answer was straightforward, Individual who dated more Reported  Happiness and Those who dated less or Rejected said Not happy. This is a good Example of Substitution, This is how brain works, to be in state of cognitive ease, When some harder or complex question is asked or situation is showed up. When answer to complex question is not found or unsolvable, our brain gets answer of some simpler readymade question whose answer seems to match the real question( but not the real answer) and we are forced to believe that that’s the real answer. But that is actually an illusion. The Answer is substituted and we Live like this in society. 

Substitution is most common in our life and we are not even aware of it especially in Third world Nation like us. Whenever something unpleasant happens to us or to our localized sense, we substitute in each others situations and We begin to doubt ourselves, our self worth, and we became barrier to own. In situations of unhappiness or  troubles don’t just judge the situation based on the single reason, which is making things bad, infact be aware, look around, pay attention to vicinity, try to find solutions from other sides, In the above Eg,. The romantic life is not only source of happiness to teens life, they can find happiness from friends, family, From their  field of interest, passion etc. Ask some question like what am I feeling and why?? And try solving situation from other sources, because often times the real answer is hidden and we live with substituted answer believing it to be true.

There are certain group of people like Dalits, mongolian type of people who are backwards in Social and literate aspects are always backwards because The conservative belief system of certain group has always substituted in every step of their life personal & profession and that created a false self of self doubt, low self esteem, believing they are cursed or naturally backwards. They dont realize their potential, they are made to think they are not enough, and live a life in illusion of Low self esteem. Because they are conditioned mentally, emotionally psychologically to substitute the low self esteem in every aspect of their life.

So what is the solution then, Yess now we are aware of how our mind substitute, so in situation of messed up, you just spread your vision to broader field of sense around, check if you answered the equivalent unreal question. There is no way to fix this illusion but to be aware like I discussed.

Next Time you plan Your big Goals or working hard to achieve big in life keep your vision broader and Hit it from every corner. Also, what science says is we are evolved to survive and mate and produce offsprings, that means you cannot have happiness accidentally, You cannot find happiness on a way to school, You have to work for it.
Speaking on Substitute:
1) She Frequently saw rape and female violence news in one week and when She had small fight with her boyfriend she said he abused her.
2) Chinese are doing good in Worlds Top school for last 10/ 12 years, So people think all chinese are excellent Academically.
3) He was confused in the first day of office, and Boss is not believing him on Doing work with confident.
4) They are weak financially, So they thinks they are sad.
